The process starts immediately once we receive your bouquet. Your flowers will be photographed and then begin the rehydrating process to keep or depending on the state we receive your flowers even bring back the natural beauty so they will look their very best. Clients choosing to ship their flowers to us should carefully review the "Care & Shipping" section to preserve the natural beauty of the flowers as much as possible. Your flowers are then stored in a cool environment for at least 24 hours until the rehydration is complete. |

When rehydrating is complete, depending on the type and color of the flower special pre-treatment solutions are used to treat each individual flower. This pre-treatment helps the flowers retain their natural colors. Your flowers are then frozen and placed in the vacuum freeze dryer. Flowers will remain under vacuum for up to 17 days until all moisture is removed. This state-of-the-art freeze drying equipment is the best in the industry for capturing the natural shape, size, color and texture of your flowers. Flowers at this stage are treated with special color enhancing and sealing liquids. Depending on the natural flower color some will slightly change during the freeze drying process. White flowers can become creamy and reds tend to darken toward burgundy. We use color enhancing to restore the natural color as much as possible, though some variation may occur.
